Russian Wrestling Federation will not take part in Paris Olympic 2024. While they have officially announced and the decision from Paris 2024 will be one of the challening moment for them despite the invitation extended to ten Russian wrestlers by International Olympic committee.
However the announcement was from Russia Wrestling Federation, While expressing strong discontent with IOC Selection. According to the report of Russian National Team in Freestyle women’s and Greco Roman Wrestling will not allow the spirit to be destroyed they said they don’t accept the usportsmanship selection from the International Olympic committee when they are forming the list of the athletes’ and its undermine the unity of the their team.

We do not accept the unsportsmanlike selection principle that guided the International Olympic Committee when forming the list of eligible athletes, the purpose of which is to undermine the principle of unity of our team,”.
However, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) blocked Abdulrashid Sadulaev’s quest for a third Olympic title and denied Zaurbek Sidakov, Zaur Uguev, Musa Evloev, and other Russian wrestlers the chance to compete. This decision hindered the Russian National Team’s participation, leading to the withdrawal from Paris 2024. As a result, United World Wrestling lost the last opportunity to uphold the Olympic Games as a competition of the strongest athletes.
