Every detail you need to know about Mumbai’s batting attack
Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan are the openers. Trent Boult caught in the powerplay. Mumbai Indians were 11-2 in 2 overs. Surya Kumar Yadav gave relief to Mumbai fans by hitting boundaries. But unfortunately, Sandeep Sharma took the wicket of Surya; he scored ten runs in 8 balls. Again, Mumbai Indians had a bad start in their power play. The last time these both played against each other, Rajasthan Royals had taken four wickets over Mumbai. Fans were surprised that that day was repeating. Rajasthan seems confident after being at the top.
After SKY got out, Mohammad Nabi hit a few fours and sixes. In the 7th over, Chahal came to the bowl and took Nabi’s wicket. Mumbai Indians were four down in 7.3 over.
Ravindra Ashwin came to the ball in the 8th over, hit by a six from Tilak Verma. Verma was hitting boundaries from Avesh Khan’s ball. Yuzvendra Chahal became the first player with 200 wickets in IPL history after dismissing Nabi, who was starting to gain some good touch on the crease. Nabi continues with the explosive approach but needs to read Chahal’s delivery before mishitting it. Nihal Wadhera walks into the field for Mumbai Indians, as Hardik Pandya, yet again, chooses to stay behind. Tilak and Wadhera maintained a good partnership and scored decent runs with few boundaries and sixes after their top order collapsed.
Tilak Verma made his half-century with a swift hit in the 15th over. Verma did a solid job batting to put Mumbai on a good scoreboard. Nihal Wadhera had also joined the six’s club and hit a few back-to-back sixes in Chahal’s over. Earlier, in the 16th over, Trent Boult took the much-awaited wicket of Nihal Wadhera. That was the most enormous relief for Rajasthan. Mumbai Indians were 170 losing six wickets in 18th over.
Hardik Pandya entered the crease. Everyone expected him to score good runs on the scoreboard. Yet his bad luck continued, and he lost his wicket by scoring ten runs in ten balls. Avesh Khan finally got his first wicket.

Sandeep Sharma holds a fifer in this game, lastly taking Tim David’s wicket; Parag took a good catch there. He is really a game-changer for RR. Rajasthan Royals restricted MI by 179 runs.
