His work at LifeShip reflects his dedication to preserving Earth’s biodiversity and cultural heritage while pushing the boundaries of human exploration. By developing methods to backup life and knowledge on the Moon and Mars, Ben and his team aim to create a lasting legacy for humanity and inspire future generations to envision a thriving galactic civilization.

How does the inclusion of a diverse array of biological and cultural data within the lunar pyramid contribute to our understanding of the preservation of Earth’s heritage and biodiversity in a space environment, and what might this mean for future interstellar missions
At LifeShip, we are on a mission to preserve Earth and take steps to spread life to the stars. Our first missions include a record of life from Earth; including plant seeds and a DNA biobank of humanity and Earth’s biodiversity. This first phase of missions are to save backup copies of Earth in space, on the Moon, and on Mars. We also save a record of human knowledge, culture, and heritage.
We are taking an agile incremental approach to making these backups last for longer time periods. We develop the technologies to preserve information and the genetic code of species for longer periods of time. We are taking steps to be able to store information for billions of years and to develop the capabilities to spread life across the galaxy.
In what ways could the symbolic gesture of placing a pyramid on the Moon, as both an artistic and scientific monument, influence public perceptions of space exploration and humanity’s role in the cosmos? How might such missions shape the future of international collaboration and cultural exchange in space endeavors
LifeShip’s Pyramid on the Moon could serve as a powerful symbol for long term thinking for our species. A pyramid is a symbol that has stood the test of time and carries on a legacy and story to future civilizations. Pyramids are collaborative undertakings. LifeShip is a vision towards a grand purpose for humanity stewarding the expansion of life and consciousness beyond Earth.
A future where humanity goes on to become a thriving galactic civilization in harmony with all life is a beautiful uniting future that all humanity can be excited about. Ultimately, the lunar pyramid could play a pivotal role in shaping our perceptions of space exploration and our place in the cosmos, inspiring us to reach for the stars and create a better future for all.
