Baku, Azerbaijan – Priyanka Mallick, an acclaimed international fashion designer, member of the United Nations for International Affairs, and proud member of The Royal Commonwealth Society of the United Kingdom, is making a powerful statement for world peace and sustainability at COP29, held from November 11 to November 22, 2024.
Priyanka is presenting her thought-provoking artwork, Harmony’s Crown of Mother Nature, a vivid illustration symbolizing peace and harmony. The artwork portrays Mother Nature wearing a crown adorned with delicate flowers, butterflies, and the Earth itself, emphasizing the interconnectedness and fragility of life. Above this, a majestic peacock feather rises, representing cosmic energy and the hope for renewal amidst global conflicts.

“At COP29, I am advocating for peace and gender equality while addressing the urgent need for action on the climate crisis. My artwork reflects my belief in the power of creativity to inspire solidarity and transformation,” Priyanka shared. She also expressed heartfelt gratitude to her husband, Prof. Dr. Susanta Banerjee, whom she described as her source of energy and inspiration, saying, “He is my Supreme Sun, and I am his reflection, like moonlight.”
As a global affairs advocate, Priyanka has participated in numerous high-profile events, including the United Nations SDG Summit, COP28, G20, Think 20, G7, and The Nobel Prize Summit. She has also virtually addressed the Chatham House in the UK, urging world leaders like President Joe Biden to prioritize global peace.
Priyanka’s advocacy extends beyond art. Her fashion designs, crafted to promote world peace, have made an impact during crises such as the Ukraine war and the Israel-Palestine conflict. Recognized globally, she has won numerous accolades, including the International Fashion Designer Marathon in Milan (2019), Fashion Stylist of the Year (2019), and the Design Hero Award in Rome (2022).
She has also been honored with the Messenger of Peace Award by International Scout, United Nations, for her relentless dedication to spreading hope and harmony.
In addition to her artistic and advocacy endeavors, Priyanka’s achievements include designing a coronation dress for Her Majesty The Queen Camilla and a brooch for His Majesty King Charles III, showcasing her exceptional talent and commitment to positive change.
Raised in Badinan, Hooghly, West Bengal, India, Priyanka studied fashion design through e-learning programs in Milan and California, earning an honorary Doctorate in Pop Cultural Studies. Her education from prestigious institutions such as Harvard University, Stanford University, and Cambridge University has equipped her with a global perspective to drive meaningful change.
